>roguelike
>it has granular equipment stats
>it has item durability
>it has hunger and thirst bars
>"The enemies are dangerous, this is a very harsh world! Play smart and pick your battles!"
>the skills are not impactful at all and the strongest ones are the ones that apply various status effects like a JRPG
>enemies can have your skills but you can't have the enemy's skills
>the difference in equipment power is a few digits based on its tier
Other than Stoneshard how many games do this?

Tell me more about Stoneshard.

Left is better because it gives you more granular information that allows you to properly weigh your options, assuming you're actually making some attempt to engage with the game's mechanics in a meaningful way. The right is for casuals who want to coast through the game without thinking, and get frustrated if a game wants them to make any real decisions.

It's an early access RPG, pretty good but far from finished. The game rewards survival over dealing more damage because the sources of dealing damage scale too slowly and the sources of damage can be debilitating; limb injury is the long-term health of your limbs separate from your health bar and having an injured limb not only debilitates you based on the limb but also generates pain (up to a limit that is increased with more injured limbs), which fucks up your combat capability. The knight character can get an ability from the Combat Mastery tree (I think) that applies several different negative effects to the nearby enemies and several positive ones to yourself, and I found that to be far more impressive than the "Raise Shield" ability (increases your defensive power for 2 turns) that was also available.

Maybe Cataclysm?
It's also sorta a completely different beast, but a very fun game

Flat numbers are better than percentages

More words means more damage user, that's how puny magic users do their damage.

Which one, Any Forums?
