>17 Classic games
>11 X Games
>3 Legends Games
>6 Inti Games
>7 Battle Network Games
>4 StarForce Games
>Still not enough

>Good video games should stop releasing because...they just should, okay!?

>theres already existing games so they should stop making them forever

Epic bait
But if not
If you read the same book over and over you get tired of it
Just because you liked one book series doesn’t mean you’d like the authors other ones

Also your gay and I fucked your mom kid

Battle Network Games
StarForce Games
how did you even manage to fuck this up

Don't think so. Megaman 11 sold pretty well. I'm assuming it's taking longer because they're moving it to RE Engine instead of MT

No, but first they have to find a proper actor to scan into RE Engine.

It sold less than ARMS

wasnt that bundled with the console?

>RE Engine instead of MT
I don't want a realistic rockman

Nah, RE Engine is flexible. See Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection.

Rockman Taisen is still coming, whatever it is. The internal lineup leak has proven true, and we have heard nothing about it being cancelled like we have some of the games on it. I have a hunch it's a multiplayer game though, so some may not be happy.

>People still think RE Engine requires photogrammetry/face scan in current year after MH Rise, GnG Resurrection, SF6 and even the Arcade Stadiums use it

>They need to keep releasing Shrek movies until the end of time
>They need to keep releasing Toy Story movies until the end of time
>They need to keep releasing Star Wars Movies until the end of time
>inb4 "Movies are different"!
No. Particularly since one of you mentioned books. There's no reason a series of any medium needs to churn out sequels until the end of time. Only mindless consumers believe this. If you really need to play another Mega Man game there's no shortage of indie Mega Man clones on steam.
>N-no, those don't have the corporate stamp for my brand loyalty!
Tough shit.

Battle Network Games
there are way more than 7
>mainline 6
>OSS(remake of 1, depends on whether or not you count it)
>double team (also depends)
>BCC
>4.5
>network transmission
>wonderswan
counting the unique games, there's 10 BN games
counting remakes, 12
counting split versions, 16

Never got into the RPG series, they didn't interested me. Point still stands.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The market has changed where Mega Man's development cycle can't profit Capcom. They can't recycle assets from Mega Man 11 like all the other games along with Mega Man 11 not being super successful. People don't really want the classic style and any attempt at innovation will likely fail and alienate MM fans. I love the series but it doesn't have a place in the modern market without drastic changes.

>with Mega Man 11 not being super successful
>not super successful
isnt it like the second best selling megaman game behind like 2
it may not make street fighter numbers, but it wasnt really expected to, and did way better than expected

Yes but Capcom's idea for success is fucking retarded.

Literally all capcom franchises besides monster hunter and street fighter are dead lol the others only get releases

Resident Evil is also a successful IP.

>Just settle for a shitty knockoff that vaguely resembles something you love.

Do you think a single person from the team that made Mega Man 2 was on the team that made 11? If not, what made you interested in 11?

The project leads for 11 worked on some of the later NES Classic games and 7 IIRC, and they made the younger staff members play all 10 previous Classic games before starting development.

I just want ZX3 damn it

How would the BN timeline equivalent of legends be like?
