>set up for the first dark dungeon mission
>perfect team comp
>perfect quirks and trinkets
>forget to bring torches
THE GAME WARNS ME IF I DON'T BRING TORCHES ON NORMAL MISSIONS
WHY THE FUCK DOESN'T IT DO THAT ON THE FINAL DUNGEONS?
Set up for the first dark dungeon mission
just win anyway casual
Remind yourself overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
You literally played all the way to the final dungeon with the game always needing to remind you of something so basic?
So it never became muscle memory to shove torches in?
It was already a dark dungeon, but you managed to make it... the darkest dungeon
This game is shit.
>Fail a Dark Dungeon
>Have to grind a new party just so I can try again
Just open the text file where it says how many party members should die when retreating and set it to 0.
I don't remember ever being warned that I didn't bring torches
Anyway, it's your own damn fault, there are only 4 darkest dungeon missions, if you aren't buying fucking everything in the prep screen, considering it's literally the endgame you have only yourself to blame
>why does a game that explicitely tells me characters will die and not come back make my characters die and not come back? Fucking shit!
final dungeon has special lightning, like crimson court, I think you don't need torches
You come so far and yet still learn nothing.
This game is pointless
I was doing DD1
rip my prismatic solidity eldritch hater luminous shield breaker
underrated post
It's fun when you use cheats.
why would I do that
the charm is getting XCOM'd when you least expect it either through being an idiot or sheer RNG
only mod I installed was big tiddy anime girl skins (with no visible eyes)
>mechanic has a bigger or smaller effect based on whether the hero is religious
>only 4 religious heroes in the game, and one of them is DLC
Yes I am still angry.
you vill have ze double vestal crus flag squad and you vill be happy
yessssss
If you want more of that kind of thing, try the "Black Reliquary" overhaul mod. In that mod every hero is either Reliqious, Pagan or Faithless, and a lot more skills work with it (and not just the camping ones), so you get a lot more interactions.
Which other ones could have been religious? Maybe it could have ended up a quirk even?
It's not a darkest dungeon thread without a fair share of occultist memes
