Jason Schreiner himself is the direct reason for this. He leaked Fallout 4's prologue and basic story two years before the game came out, then kept it up after Bethesda asked for it to be taken down. 'Coincidentally', after that Bethesda stopped allowing review copies, early looks, exclusive news, etc. to all news outlets. Jason doesn't want to admit any of that though because then he can't be seen as the respectable journalist who sits on abuse claims until he can make bank of it like he did with Blizzard.
