I've never played The Outer Worlds but anything is better than NMS. Don't believe the whole "they redeemed themselves" shit. NMS has received numerous updates but none of them make the game worthwhile to play since they're all very shallow.

Not really. Terrain generation got a lot better and can get straight up weird in certain places. There's also tons to do now and online works pretty well.
