And not in the "sucks the same as goldeneye" way but just worse
Aim mode cursor has momentum so is way harder to aim than original games
Also aim mode is fucking disabled until you get far enough into a level for a tutorial to tell you about aim mode

Cannot disable autoaim so your shots are constantly magnetized to your target

You run slower than original game

No camera bob

Basically, its all fucked. Just not made with soul.

GE64 aiming crosshair was fast and snappy. Agent 64 aiming crosshair takes time to settle into place, which is compounded by the fact that modern analogs have a shorter throw than N64, making aiming feel so much fucking worse than GE64.

The poly count is also too high for games of it's era but it tries to mask it with low quality textures

Just play 1964 GEPD bros.

The aim mode is really fucked at the moment. It's either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.
Also the demo level is fairly bland, I hope their other levels have more going for them.
Weirdly enough, it's one of the few times I would actually call a game soulless.

I'm all in for N64-themed modern games. At least those have some amount of soul.

It affects mouse too. Imagine if moving the mouse slowly approached where you moved your mouse to instead of just moving there.

Hey dev, if you are shilling in this thread, please strongly consider the following:

>stick aim mode needs a new option. N64 GE style aim mode just doesnt work on today's analog sticks. The throw and size is all wrong. Consider adding an alternate aim mode style option where its as if you are applying velocity to the crosshair instead of directly setting its position with the joystick. Think of how "joystick mouse" works with gamepads on steam. Make it move the crosshair like that until you let go of the aim trigger.
>mouse aim mode - make the cursor instantly respond to mouse movement instead of slowly approaching it. aim mode on mouse feels like complete dogshit.

Both of these will make your game feel way more responsive. You can thank me later.

Oh and let us turn off autoaim for fucks sake. The original game had this.
