It has overhauled 2.5D graphics, remixed music and tweaks and changes, especially the last boss is changed pretty drastically
You can debate that the artstyle of either game is superior/inferior but DXC was my first Castlevania game and also included both OG Rondo as well as SOTN, and it served as a gateway to the rest of the franchise later on. Played the shit out of it as a kid and it's still very near and dear to my heart

I agree. the Yakuza series has become another Fromsoft Souls-series for me. aslong as they improve on little things they can make as much games as they want to. can't see that I am going to get tired of it any time soon

Outcast blew my mind but it also set the standard too high for me so I didn't enjoy much of what came in that genre until some in the late 2010s (Witcher and RDR).
Nowadays the craze is sadly all about open world instead of well-crafted worlds, much like recent Assassin's Creed games vs. the earliest ones.
