Here's your Steam Deck 2 GPU.
Here's your Steam Deck 2 GPU
4nm Phoenix Point is certainly going to be a huge departure from Van Gogh. Too bad Valve won't ever made a Steam Deck 2.
right, I'll remember to place my steam deck 2 right next to my steam controller 2, or perhaps my steam machine 2.
the gpu on the deck is perfectly fine, it's the cpu that could have needed an extra oomph
We're always wanting for more GPU power, the Deck does pretty good at its native res, but there are still a couple games where it struggles a bit on medium settings.
>5nm
what process size are the current steam deck and the current gen consoles using?
they're all 7nm
7nm DUV, the new Zen4 and RDNA3 parts are 5/4nm EUV.
That's what I thought, thanks. At least it looks like consoles and steam deck have a nice upgrade path for slim versions.
Yeah right after they release the Index 2. lol
What happens when they reach 0nm?
Nah it's RDNA 3. They won't touch it.
It would be extremely painful
games will be good again
for you...
>reach 0nm
the universe will implode and create a new universe. i think you meant when they reach 1nm can they go further into picometers and the answer is probably not, an atom is 0.1 nanometers.
I wonder when AMD will put their shit together and release decent graphic drivers.
Never. They only exist to keep Nvidia at reasonable pricings.
>Valve won't ever made
Seething ESL
yea will the steam deck even sell enough for valve to justify going for deck 2 considering current rate of steam deck's being sold?
Current figures have awfully similar numbers to previous valve hardware failures like steam machine
they have sold every unit they have manufactured, preorders are filled until next year.
they are not going to print many of them, ever. it's an enthusiast item
