Can't lie to you all, this looked interesting.

How? It didn't really show how exactly the game will be played.
it looked entirely CGI
At least it had a good atmosphere and scary robots.
there is less footage of it than the last go around and it will disappear once the dev has enough money to get more coke.
It looked interesting 10 years ago. Not anymore.
did this get revived or did a youtuber make a video about it recently
"Interesting" about sums it up. There were less than five minutes of gameplay teasers but just like all other vaporware it lost all appeal very quickly.
How long has it been since their last blog post? 7 years?
I just want scary robots.
I hope they finish it this time. The new trailer was great.
New trailer. They are back.
That's cool, but I won't get my hopes up
>great
Compared to the old ones, it's not nearly as interesting
its probably vaporware and the Robots aren't scary
They are scary.
>Almost a decade ago
>Dev releases a trailer with no actual gameplay and everyone gets hype
>After a bunch of waiting, the devs say they won't show anything new until they have a release date they know they won't push back again and go radio silent
>Now
>Devs release a trailer with no actual gameplay and no release date
Is this an investor scam?

I would have preferred the robots matched the era's aesthetic instead of looking deliberately scary.
Of course it's all fucking CGI, it's a videogame
Don't know what you guys watched but it seemed pretty obvious from the early video and articles about it. It's one of those 'hide from the monster' games and your only defense is that camera gun that can access systems and reportedly hack robots to stun them for a moment. It didn't sound like there were other weapons yet.
Thing that concerned me was them saying it was procedural generated levels with perma-death. These things always feel like a low-effort cope out.
I was interested in it back then but Alien Isolation made it completely redundant in every way possible and now I couldn't care less.
I don't know why you responded to me with that when I was pointing out their failure to uphold their own requirement for releasing a new trailer.
I don't really get this take. Isolation was great for visiting the Aliens universe with it's retro sci-fi but it's still set in the far future. Routine is set in the 80s on a moon base. It's going to stand out.
This game is over a decade in the making and the devs did an AMA on eight chan back in the day, which means they browse chan boards (or used to). I hope it finally turns out well, wonder what caused the development hell.
