That was pretty much me, went from WoW to FFXIV, it plays like almost the same game except the open world is a lie and the story is somehow even more cringe, I don't understand the appeal of FFXIV for a second.
I haven't touched an MMO in years now, those games are not worth playing and I regret having wasted thousands of hours of my life on them.

You dont need to train them every day, if that is what is happening your dog doesn't respect you or view you as the alpha. But yes dogs are pack animals they require socialization and that is partially humans fault as we have bred them to be reliant on us.
