I think multiple Clouds will fight multiple Sephiroths
and then Cloud will fall in the lifestream, and when he emerges he will look like Sephiroth
and then we will find out that Sephiroth is actually the body of Cloud's father when he was young possessed by the spirit of Rufus' grandfather, Yahweh Izanagi Shinra who injected himself with Prime Jenova, but then he died and became Hojo and impregnated Lucrecia
there's multiple versions of each character time traveling and acting independently to cover any possible plothole in case you were wondering, if you paid attention to Before Crisis you'd know all this already
