Sure, it has some poor monetization options but it's still the best ARPG on the market now that Path of Exile went to shit.
Sure...
isnt diablo 3 unironically better?
It's also cheaper.
I tried Necromancer and got pretty bored quickly. Not much room for any build customization it seems.
>some poor monetization options
HAHAHAHAHAH
you shill niggers aren't even trying anymore
I wasn't going to ge the 1st reply to this shit bait but every other diablo is better than immortal.
And they did a surpringly decent job on d2r imo
>Diablo 3
>legendary gems drop one by one with every rift you do
>level them up at your choice every time you complete a rift
>F R E E
why the fuck didnt they just keep it that way?
because money duhh
>mobile
>action rpg
nice joke
What happened to Path of Exile? I haven't kept up with it the past few years, but I enjoyed it quite a bit in 2014-2018.
Gachas aren't videogames.
Isn't this all cosmetic
I'm playing POE right now, will I ever get cool looking shit as a freebie or do I have to goy up for the cool looking stuff
Tried it for 24 hours and went back to PoE. I'm sorry, but Diablo 3 and Diablo Immortal are RPGs for little babies. The fact that there is just one number for damage/defense is so shallow and lame. Big number good, wew. It's hilarious how there is even a green arrow telling you what gear to equip. The absolute state of Blizztards lol. Path of Exile is better in every way imaginable. Crafting, build diversity, content. Sorry m8.
Going through the same acts over and over again gets pretty tedious. That's why I stopped playing.
That's been since day one.
paying money to make numbers go up is the laziest implementation of microtransactions I have ever seen, like what is the point? At least with fallout 76, the atoms I spend go toward camp items I can use to unleash my creative energies upon and reap endless hours of gameplay by camp building...
interesting, this is about the amount you spend per day in diablo immoral
Sure, but it's a constant criticism. I'm already burned out once I get into maps.
nah, the 4800 points directly translates into gear upgrades, either via skipping battlepass tiers for free legendaries, or by rolling for gem upgrades & legendary crests.
>Poor monetization options
you can say that again, when they penalize F2Per legendary drops and gems soft-capping them at 6 per day and nuking the droprates after that.
Also that side quests stop giving exp after 5 per day, and so, so many more hidden little hooks that incentivize people to pay and to make the F2p experience as painful as possible.
If my choice is between eating dog shit and eating cat shit, I think it is perfectly valid to stand up and leave the goddamn restaurant. I also think it is a perfectly valid viewpoint to think anybody who actively chooses to remain in the restaurant after seeing the absolute state of the menu is a tasteless retard who has suffered the ARPG brain rot to the point where they mistake intermittent neural stimulation prompted by loot drop sounds for actual engagement and fun.
