Don't worry, crustaceans don't have the brain capacity to feel pain the way most mammals do which is why a lot of them have reflexes to tear away parts of their bodies as bait to predators so they can escape. It can't feel the concept of "hurt" like we do so there's no suffering even while it's being boiled alive, their nervous systems are so different due to lack of brain function that when they experience actual pain it just registers as panic. So basically when it fell into that pot of boiling oil, all that was going through it's mind was "what is happening i need to escape" and then the body ceases to function

Does this prove they don't feel pain in a different way, though? Not too long ago a fly landed on the (electric) stovetop at night, so i was curious and I turned on the stove, the fly then fled and started being a LOT more skittish than before.
Maybe animals with different types of sensory shit can still feel pain, just in a different way than we do.
