When I did M&B duels I would call people retarded faggots for losing then tell them how to do better, and demonstrate moves and shit. They'd generally either take the advice and get gradually better or think I was patronizing them and get extremely pissed off. Either outcome was rewarding.

In M&B multiplayer you would strip naked to assert dominance. You're so good that you don't need armor because your opponent won't hit you. The helmet was a concession against MLG archers 360 noscope headshotting you from across the map. These are the dudes you see spinning wildly with an awlpike and killing you in a way you don't understand.
I played Duel which had a different meta - no one wore armor, but you didn't bother to actually strip naked because it didn't make a difference. You used greatswords and would usually die in one hit. Armor was actually detrimental because it slowed you down slightly and good duelling was all about split second reaction time. Yes, I'm autistic, and yes, it was extremely fun.
