The gore looked ok but I did not really like the monsters and the movement looked very strange to me. I also don’t really like horror games or space games. Dead space was alright when I was a kid but I have never really wanted to play it again

I mean there are a bunch of indie sci fi horror games coming out due to demand after dead space died, and callisto lined up with that.
Im looking forward to Routine,scorn,negative atmosphere and ripout. Its been ages since i have played a high budget horror sci fi game last one i enjoyed was Alien isolation.

I played prey for like 20 minutes and shot some shitty looking alien with a glue gun or something like that and immediately turned it off and never played it again. I don’t see the appeal to that game

CP (heh) is made by the OG Dead Space crew that left after EA made them tone down the game for being too scary and then joined by the remainder of the Dead Space 2 crew after the shit show of DS3 was being made into a co-op loot box shooter with human enemies.
Amazingly the guys remaking DS1 are on a friendly basis with the CP guys and keep checking with them if any of the changes like lighting and gameplay elements are cool with their original DS ideals. So, I got respect for both.
