While I was playing the prologue/until you get to the overworld I was thinking this could be a contender for my favorite FF. Too bad the last quarter of the game was full of shitty dungeons and the whole Garland bullshit. Also the combat was way too slow and the trances were horrible. Overall 8.3/10 though and one of the better FFs for sure
