Comfy BotW2 Thread
>underwater
>going to be good but have a bunch of little autistic flaws + the threads will be plagued by the usuals
>skyward sword gets fellated even harder
>~30% if you don't count flashbacks, 0% if you do
I predict I won't play it.

Dungeons
Underwater exploration
Unique items
Better combat
More enemy types and bosses, both underground and in the overworld
More musical variety, both in terms of quantity and instrumentation
Better voice acting, Link included
Ganondorf isn't voiced by some anime club VA like the rest of the cast
No amiibo locked content
>>Predictions
The "secret" meaning behind the title that is currently being hidden from us ends up being really boring and basic
There is no time travel and no alternate world, what you see with Hyrule is what you get and fanboys will eat it up regardless
>>Fears
More of the same from BotW1
Koroks return
Shrines return but under a new name
Dungeons end up being "Hit all five terminals" puzzle boxes again
>>Odds of Ganon being a lich the whole time
like 60% ideally, but will probably appear in humanoid form in a flashback
>hopes
Zelda brap mechanic
I hope they actually do something to expand the world instead of full-on reusing the original map, the sky blocks look boring and are probably functionally shrines again.
Powers that are actually versatile and useful in combat, cryonis and magnesis are cool in theory but are way too situational in practice.
Let Link fuck a fish
I just want the pegasus boots
adding on to this
>a dragon fight that doesn't suck
>bring back one of the old versions of Link or Zelda like how OoT Link appears in TP
Shiekah jet boots
It´s gonna be the most ambitious Zelda ever made, here we go:
>time traveling gameplay.
>present, past and future are the main topics for this game.
>the only way to defeat calamity ganon its destroying his future, past and present forms.
>Gotta go back to the past!'
>green hand that link owns its the actual artifact..
>hand cut off in the past, present abilities, future:??????????
>in the past you must recover the tri force of courage, in the present wisdom(zelda),
in the future kill ganon(power)
Hopefully nintendo will show us something,
>>Odds of Ganon being a lich the whole time
Man I wish
I fucking love liches.

Gameplay wise: Mechanics and design elements that meaningfully expand upon Link's crowd-fighting, terrain traversal, and makes more deliberate use of the physics system.
Story wise: For it to be as kino as the first game
>Predictions
Nintendo will keep the complex glitch fuckery of the first game on purpose
>Fears
More of the same, but it's a very small fear for me as I love the first title.
I hope for traditional dungeons and very little of anything that has to do with sheikah technology. I read that there was a guy on the team that wanted animal companions to travel with Link and that's why Wolf Link happened. I hope they expand on that and let you tame a wolf or buy a dog from a stable to travel with. I also want more mounts you can register and a whistle to call them from anywhere. I want those gates on the sky islands to bring us to new places and I want Ganondorf's revival to drastically alter some places in Hyrule.
>Hopes
It will redefine what a video game is and will be a landmark of all games in the future
>Fears
It's more of the same as the first game.
>Expectations
Any Forums will bitch about it for a long time.
>Hopes
That it actually releases.
That it has some meaningful changes to the combat mechanics from the original. Which were great, but we already played that to death at this point.
More focus on classic style dungeons. Not just straight up OoT style. But, something new. I liked the shrines because they were something different. But, I do miss a good dungeon.
>Fears
That it won't release next year either.
That it will completely drive the Snoys insane, and they may actually try to burn down Nintendo headquarters.
Can't wait to see our nigga Dorf again bros!
Intricate dungeons with engaging boss fights again. I want to be exploring the over world and randomly stumble upon a Forest Temple.
a part of me wishes Demise comes back, idk but I feel like he was completely wasted in Skyward Sword
being the og baddie in all of loz he should've had a more bigger presence
Bumping
>Hopes
They bring back the double claw shoot from TP and the spinner
>Predictions
Link gets the whole triforce and that's why he has new powers
>Fears
Its uses to much of BOTWs assets and mechanics
>Odds of Ganon being a lich the whole time
Doubtful
>Hopes
Enough time has passed that you get to see some progression in the world where settlements are being rebuilt
Actual dungeons
Far more enemy variety
Bosses that aren't just Ganon, Ganon, Ganon, Ganon, Yiga Leader, and Ganon
More races that were left out are included (I would be happy if even just the cut Minish town was added back in)
Return of some classic Zelda items
Purah has managed to re-age herself to her AoC age
>Predictions
The title of the game will be underwhelming and all the build-up is for nothing
Most of the world will be the same, with focus being put on underground and cloud sections instead
They'll still find a way to shoehorn in the dead guardians in some way and probably the Divine Beasts too
Fi will show up
>Fears
Link will be flung into an alternate timeline so none of the NPCs from BotW carry over
Zelda is literally gone after the first cutscene and isn't a companion you constantly meet throughout the game
It's the AoC timeline
Far less freedom in where you go and what you can do, especially in the sky sections
