3 is alright, I liked the idea of getting to run around the city during the events of 2 and the built in randomizer was a fantastic idea. They really flubbed the dodge mechanic though and I didn't care for the late game.

Are you fucking stupid? Capcom wanted RE4 remake to be like 3 (re-imagined). The original 4 remake was going to be like 2 because the devs knew how much everyone hate 3. Capcom then fired those devs and brought in their own team to change things up.
