But it's not fun to master the boss for the sake of it. Gitting gud for the sake of it is annoying. I spent so much time learning a boss that I won't be beating again and I can't use the same skills anywhere else. All the hard work goes to waste when you get bored of the game.
That isn't why the players left, retard. Anyone with a brain beat the game, the PvP is just cancerous, and unbalanced so no one plays it. There isn't incentive to play it after you beat it.

>Single Player game loses its player base after beating the game WOAH

The multiplayer interactions in this game are so fucking bad. Everything is so broken.

Elden Ring is primarily a singe player game you can tag up with your friends. It also has pvp which is shitty. Reminds me of ff14 minus the dialogue heavy cutscenes.
Adam Nguyen
It will go back up when the DLC releases

Ffxiv is worse

>Single player game with pvp gimmick that doesn't even work doesn't retain all 20 million of its players I'm literally going to kill myself This is the end of the road From Bros...
>Super Mario World, Metal Gear Solid, Ocarina of Time, etc, all lost 99.9% of their players
Huh guess they weren't good games. Fortnite has people playing it still, maybe they should learn from them!

>play Elden Ring >slowly realize over the course of the game that I'm not having any fun with the bosses >play Bloodborne >all I want to do is keep starting new games so I can fight all of the bosses again with new strategies and exploits

Fromchuds have to admit they just want to be physically whipped and urinated on eventually, since the game sounds like just that

NG+ and alternate quests/endings?

99.9999999999% of people dont care for that shit

Players getting filtered isn’t news worthy.
Eli Ross
Literally nothing wrong with that.

They already beat it. What the hell do they want? Make a shorter game and people may feel like replaying it.
Daniel Clark
Imagine "mastering" the bosses then not helping other players as a Furled Finger
Hunter Jenkins
The decline was no different from previous From games. This is a singleplayer game, people stop playing after they've completed it. What's embarrassing is that Elden Ring still has more active players than Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite.
