Not much of any really. Its a complete bottom to top remake. That never goes well, even two decades ago. Just look at MGS: Twin Snakes. That is likely one of the best remakes that has happen and that’s not saying much.

George was getting old and none of his kids wanted to take over the companies, when his WWl plane film got panned critically he became rather jaded. He also was promised more control of how things were made and he hand picked kathleen kennedy himself thinking it would give him an edge in the creation process, he has no idea she side with Disney over him and it shows for how upset he has been since the buyout.

Give me the plot rundown. What went wrong?

TLDR: After years of absolutely nothing updates, they throw out a meh tier Blur trailer for an expansion that lasted 2 hours long and completely borked the gearing system into doing grindy shit, ON TOP OF ability pruning classes for their fake ass 'combat style' update.

I was so stunned with how bad the Mass Effect legacy edition was handled. ME1 "rework" was just making a mode that got rid of the shake aim when your levels were low and reducing your level to 30 but doubling what points gave to you abilities (ie nothing changed). They just threw over Mas Effect 2 and 3 skins over the ME1 models so the whole game has this weird ass uncanny valley thing going on, ME2 was just upscale and they took all the preorder bonuses and made them things you had to either research or buy in game, but didn't increase credits or resources in game (which are finite) so you are basically risking punishment buying your favorite DLC gear or armor as you'll have less for other upgrades. Worse still all the story DLC wasn't adjusted to flow more seamlessly so you could do Project Overlord right out the gate or Kill the Shadow Broker as soon as you meet Liara causing you to lose the narrative and be exposed to enemy and events much sooner than the game had indented. And Mass Effect 3 was basically untouched, even the preorder DLC shit was just given to you and they made no effort on any of it. Worse still all three suffer new glitches and audio errors.

They work on that shit for three years and what we got could have been done by one person in a month.

I had such low expectations like straight upscale and censors and that's all but somehow they made it worse than that.

It's all but certain they will remove her slave underwear bit and I wouldn't be surprised if they even remove having any sort of clothing changes both to avoid Mission being in her undies and to avoid the work of making the gear fit/work for everyone. They likley handwave it for "cinematic effect"

They should remove that part. It was blatant pandering. Bastila just randomly decides to escape on her own when you turn up and she literally says "Oh, I could have escaped at any time. I just didn't so that we could have this stupid outfit crowbarred into the game." From a character and story point of view it made zero fucking sense that Bastila let any of that happen and they don't even attempt to explain it.

Take heart that its being done by another studio (That's done nothing but ports, but ok...) and not necessarily BioWare, as they are too busy to commit studio sudoku with Dragon Age and Mass Effect 4.

She was supposed to be a prisoner because of some force suppression device she's wearing but then she just shows it doesn't even fucking work so why was she a prisoner the whole time then?

It was a crappy underworld device they put on her. Only during the swoop racing competition did she ever think or try to escape. For awhile she does remain a prisoner but then seized an opportunity. The whole point is that if Bastila could've done that at any point there would be no need for Revan to enter a swoop race in the first place to win her back.

She got horny and wet thinking about how she was gonna get her jedi pussy ravaged by a bunch of underworld goons and it made her not think about escaping until mc ruins the mood white knighting her ass.

EXACTLY! That was my point. It's a ridiculously contrived scenario that makes no fucking sense just so little boys could get to see the love interest in the Leia slave outfit. It was fucking retarded and I will by happy if they remove the sequence or, at the very least, massively rework it so it actually makes some fucking sense.

How pathetic are you people anyway that Bastila wearing the slave outfit is of paramount importance to you? Have you thought about just not being such a massive fucking loser?
