but did it really changes the video games culture in your path?

How does it scare western developers?
You'll have to extrapolate cause all I see is western devs (and probably Japanese devs to a lesser extent) seeing an opportunity.

what is genshin impact exactly? just anime coomer bait shit?

what are western games exactly? just troon fiesta and "muh terrorism shooter"?

It's an open world action RPG available for free on mobile, PC, and playstation in multiple languages at the get go. Essentially Mihoyo took a big risk to provide its players an experience from several game titles they mimicked and copied. Since it's free, you can download and try it; the honeymoon period isn't bad if you've exhausted all other available action RPG options in your library.

where's all that heckin money going though...?

every mihoyo employee is a millionaire, that's how communism works

they have four (soon to be five) games in development.
invested in nuclear energy and even in their own neuralink to make a SaO game. kek

To develop other games than genshin impact

Mihoyo's ultimate goal is to create a massive multiplayer roleplaying game where many, many players can log in and play. They're using the Genshin money to advertise and flex for Genshin and their other projects, and to fund their other game projects (they're releasing two new games). They also said something about investing in programming schools overseas so they can train more employees into how to make video games.

Back in the 1980s, Falcom got so rich they decided to make some gundam-sized statue or whatever in Tokyo that costed like a million dollars. And then their company fell into ruin as their ace programmers left to work for Square, Nintendo, Quintet, and what not.

On ZZZ

all in the pockets of the ceo's

To the glorious leader.

>Mihoyo's ultimate goal is to create a massive multiplayer roleplaying game where many, many players can log in and piss away all their money rolling on gacha.

Uh oh

botw with better combat, more qol, a better story, and a gacha.

Back into the game and in other games. In a few months we'll have a new region to explore.

The only thing I hated in BoTW was the story; they linked it to a cool treasure hunt of finding locations in photographs, but the last thing I want is to see that game's rendition of Zelda's soap opera. Genshin didn't improve on BoTW's stamina and climbing mechanic; the only game I've seen so far that has is Ubisoft's Fenyx Rising, where you can climb like a chad and restore your stamina with a press of a button (this game is essentially BoTW, but better with the same ultimate flaws once you progress far enough into it).
