I actually like Melly. Her design is cool and her boss fight is wicked. Pulling a twist villain on Bhaal was a bad idea when his usurpet only had an expansion to establish herself though.

John Warner is a good VA, but the character is just a cheesy whiny mage with a god-complex, while Sarevok is a schemer with a god complex and working your way through the iron throne was better, read and educate yourself.

Bg1 is the superior game with the superior final fight, regular Irenicus and slayer Irenicus are pathetic unless you use mods

Irenicus was an awful villain, since the main story had to be hacked together when the game was rushed out, something the writers readily admitted. Notice that a huge chunk of his dialogue is "dream Irenicus", who isn't even the real person.
