Most of the gameplay is like 99% the same
Compare it to Streets of rage 2 which came out before hand and had all of the characters very different

Unironically because LRG secured a wholesale source for all those different cases and boxes they reuse for different LEs so it's super cheap to just do a different paint job for each LE just reusing what ever blank stock they have lying around.
