It's impossible to make a 3D game on your own, let alone 2D, I welcome corporations and their resources, their power.
For almost 2 weeks I have tried to learn how to make low poly models for my game, it has proved IMPOSSIBLE, a shame, for my game would be the first one to be a universal 10/10.
Every 3D artist took a lot longer than 2 weeks to git gud. Honestly 3D is a lifelong journey and if you want to make a 3D game you need a lot of specialists because there’s more to 3D than modeling, there’s texturing rigging and animation too, unless you want to make PS1 fidelity models then maybe you can 1 man army it in a reasonable but still very long amount of time

It's not. It's very difficult (10+ years of solo development) to create a 3D game by yourself.
But that is what the Asset Store is for. You can supplement your primary skill (programming, art, music, design) with assets from other creators who used their primary skill, thus you can create a game in a prototype stage until you have enough money to form a team and buy those other skills.
There is nothing wrong with buying assets or commissioning assets from third parties. Professional game studios do this, why wouldn't you?

When I was getting into music production people made it sound like if you didn't make it big by 5 years you should just hang up your hat and get a job a white castle. At this point in my career I more than realize those people were probably 13 year olds spouting dumb shit on the internet, and 5 years is almost enough to call yourself a beginner in that field and nobody is going to give you a job unless they owe your dad a beej.
It takes years of full time work to be "decent" at pretty much any work other than sticking cheese on to microwave patties. Any objecting cases you might be thinking of are probably related to people who are better at marketing than they are at game dev. Which desu if you just want the money might be a good field to educate yourself on.
