Why aren't you emulating?

i am though. have been playing a bunch of playstation games on my steam deck

Because every single time I get hardware like that I spend however long downloading games, tweaking it, pouring over forum posts telling me how to optimize it and then I get done and have zero motivation to play any fucking GAMES

but I am

I used to think it was pronounced "oak age"

RetroArch on Switch is great, I just wish N64 would work without overclocking.
Nintendo's official emulator works better but it doesn't have the games I really want to play like GoldenEye and the Goemon games.

I am, been playing King's Field III on my Xbox One. The KF games are fucking sweet, you guys should play them if you haven't already.

if you have a laptop or something n64 emulation should be easy now a days

See:

I'm done with boomer shit, remake it or I'm not playing it

I’m waiting for the Retroid 3 since I’m not a retard who bought RP1,RP2 or RP2Plus which have shoddy 6th gen emulation

over the past couple of months i've been off-and-on loading up "Any Forums approved rpgs", shit that people say is good, or "DUDE it has so much SOUL", and i usually get like 30 minutes in before i decide that it's not worth it to play some mid-tier ps2 rpg with bad gameplay in current year.

Just play the RPG's that look appealing to you more than anything.

I might get one in a month. Retroid pocket 2× is only 100 bucks.

Why not just emulate on PC?

What are the rpgs in question?

Why would you emulate OoT when you can play the port?

I like playing with shaders at 4:3

Because I own HDMI modded original hardware

I like being able to relax with something portable while I'm watching something on TV in the background.

Yes, that's right user; HDMI. And it's amazing. I have a Hi-Def NES modded Famicom and an Ultra HDMI modded N64 and both are incredible on LG and Sony OLEDs
