Senran Kagura games are good (well, some of them anyway), but not great. I give Burst, 2, and Shinovi Versus a 7/10. 6/10 for Bon Appetit.

That's generous. Agree on 7/10 for 2 but Burst and Renewal are 6/10 while Shinovi Versus is a 5/10. Then there's the rest, though I suppose Bon Appetit wasn't particularly offensive either.

Of those I've only played Shinovi Versus and I couldn't stomach more than two hours of it; it was an absolutely braindead button masher.

Shinovi would be better if it had anything resembling a difficulty curve. You should see Estival Versus though - take Shinovi but ruin what mechanical potential it did have (remove cancels, make attacks feel like molasses, etc.) and slap superarmor onto pretty much every trash mob. It's awesome. It's not awesome at all.

The thing I've learned from these types of games, even the bottom barrel Compile hearts. You're just suppose to relax with them and not expect anything. Sometimes you just want a button masher with titties to look at. I will agree though, its not good at all.
