I haven't played since the end of Shadowbringers, but BLM was definitely my favorite. Fire 4 spam never got old, and aetherial manipulation skill was very handy for mechanics I didn't know because I could warp next to whoever is doing shit right.

Bladesworn has been pretty fun for me, but the fact it roots you as you charge dragon trigger is something that's hard to get used to in a game that is normally so mobile.

Dragoon has the uncontested best thematic. As in, it's a fact not an opinion. Gameplay wise I really like Black Mage.

It's actually because RDM is stylish as fuck and genuinely fun to play. People would play RDM even if the job dealt half the damage it does and had zero utility.

Don't know about good or not dps wise, what I do know is that the job stands out as being really braindead on a game where every job is simple to begin with which is quite a feat.
