Best Vidya Weapon

The mace must be, hands down, the best vidya weapon.
>omni directional unlike bladed weapons
>can have almost any reach you want outside of spear length
>never nicks or gets blunt
>deals with armour better than blades
>can be a light weapon or heavy
>never embeds in bone or mail
>useable to a decent degree by fools and retards, swords take forever to do even basics
>terrifying on the field
>big dick barbarian energy

>farther reach than other weapons
>unlimited skill ceiling, never gets boring
>can one shot human targets
>can three shot most larger humanoids like orcs
>user can remain safe while using it
>can be used in sieges to set cities on fire or on ice if magic

The spear.

Its only ever been seen in fighters manuals, never seen a found example at all

Russian flail and axe 14th century

Don't eat up the lie that flails didn't exist, it's made up of stupid youtubers who want to double down on clickbait hot takes.
Flails were widely used in eastern europe for many centuries. Mostly as a cavalry weapon though.

Flails are basic survival tools that have existed longer than modern man

>melee weapon that only works at range
Impressive how retarded the spear is

By your retarded logic, all weapons are ranged unless you use your bare hands.

It's my go to in soulsborne. Good damage and most importantly stagger.

For me, it's the Bardiche
The perfect middle ground between an axe and a polearm, simple and elegant

Just hold it further up on the shaft if they get close you retard
Or just back up/push them away

Vidya's got magic swords and stuff, though.

Give me a hammer

I love the flails but few games ever allow you to even use them.

Unrealistic katanas are the most fun

>concentrates all force to a small point delivering more kinetic energy than modern bullets
>pierces armor
>breaks bones

You're using a glorified club you caveman

>a blunt weapon
>never nicks or gets blunt

>modest and simple
>but with the highest skill ceiling
>infinite ammo
>so powerful the romans had to invent special forceps to pry embedded stones out of people's flesh
For me, it's the sling.

It's just a boring weapon to me like beating someone with a phonebook

Unlike a weapon that only works at close range? Don't you think it would be better to have a weapon that works at the range you actually want to be fighting in?

I agree with you for the most part but flails exist, OP.

>>big dick cleric energy
fixed that for you

The spear is the most useful melee weapon in human history they were taking mammoths down with sharpened stick spears thousands of years ago.

>is the best melee weapon in existence

>you are probably wearing a sling right now
