So, can some Warhammer autist tell me what the characters in the cover are supposed to be and their organizations?
Every time I try to learn about it I find myself against a mountain of obscure lore tht takes from gamebooks and novels that's not easy to navigate.

no why would it? that Eldar is a ranger, maybe even a Corsair can do whatever the fuck it wants, sure the SM (space wolves get away with loads of shit normal marines dont) and SoB will be on a normal level of indoctrination but if they hook up with a Rogue Trader in some backwater shitsystem where the Imperium isnt really present, can work

I really hope this gets really fleshed out, they already showcased the ability to play as a psyker. If I am able to turn to Chaos and become a Sorcerer it will be fucking awesome, especially if they bother to go monogods right (with how many subclasses each Pathfinder class had in their games, I am hoping they will).
Would also hope they allow you to make custom companions like the Pathfinder games did so you can make your custom retinue, granted I wonder if the fact that you can have a Space Marine as a party member opens the door for a full Space Marine party.
