soulless vs SOVL

>locali'z'ation
STFU mutt

Let's face it, it's more likely that the whole industry will suddenly decide overnight to pay 10x the wages, fire all the trannies, and hire only professional writers with 10 years experience, than it is that any random EOP on Any Forums will manage to learn kana.

fpbp

Learned kana, fuck kanji though, knowing how to hold a conversation in japanese is more important.
Don't know how to do the latter either however.

Kanji are easy as shit, and they exist to make the rest of the language easier. You're never going to make it.

>waste 5 years of your life learning useless chink
moon runes

id rather not.

Boo?

Enjoy wasting the next 60 years of your life reading trannylations, then. What a shame you couldn't take 30 minutes out of your day.

video games are a hobby, stop coping

Being a contrarian is not something most of us find witty or interesting.

Memorizing 2000 characters minimum doesn't sounds like it will take a while so I'm good.
I'd rather just ignore any games with bad localization and go to the next hundreds of games that come out that aren't pozzed.

Yes, yes, the 5 hours a day you spend shitposting about games is a real hobby.

I'm not being "contrarian". If you knew kanji, you'd understand, a few thousand symbols is nothing compared to tens of thousands of new words.

Takes about 3 months with 10-20 minutes of work per day.

>he actually learned japanese
lol, lmao

Know how long it would take to learn how to have a decent conversation in japanese? I'd much rather learn that first. It might make me motivated to learn kanji.

I said: Being a contrarian is not something most of us find witty or interesting.

the only decent way to learn that is to immerse in native media, and guess what, you better fucking know how to read if you want to do that

on /jp/ they get from zero to fluency in about two years. this includes all aspects of japanese. you might want to read the /jp/ guide tatsumoto.neocities.org/

please ignore the tatsucuck, he's an infamous russian spammer and schizo

Yea, I did try to learn the kanji's a bit ago but it was tiring so I gave up. Did the mass immerse thing during the lockdowns since I was literally going nowhere and just shut myself and listened to japanese stuff non-stop. Was pretty neat actually picking up on words/phrases being used constantly as I went a long. Sucks that I would probably have to start over though considering how long ago that was.
>Takes about 30 hours to learn basic kanji but 2 years to speak well
Fucking what.

>30 hours to learn basic kanji
i don't think you got it right. it takes about 1-2 months to learn basic kanji according to the guide.
