It's a good game (because it's Warcraft III).
Most of the outrage was "they didn't remake the cutscenes to be more cinematic".
I won't buy it though, because i got a free copy by entering my old CD key (without updated graphics) - Which is more than I can say for Age of Empires II (After buying the old game, I had to buy it a second time for the HD edition and now I should buy it a third time for Definitive).
The low review scores are all politics and bashing, in truth it's impossible to play this game and NOT have fun.
