A canned chicken represents several highly necessary aspects of human history combined to create something, and while most of them have been forgotten in the process and especially at the people who see the chicken at the end, they were still vital.
Humans had to learn farming to raise chickens.
Humans had to learn preservation to prevent their meat from spoiling.
Humans had to learn steel milling etc to create the can to preserve it.
Humans had to learn logistics to get the can from production to plates.
And at the end of it all... you're left with a disgusting culmination of all these incredible advances that are completely forgotten at the end of it all.

So... any game that is long running and has time limited content is the first thing that comes to mind. Games like Fortnite which have time limited battlepasses, game modes, skins, maps, etc that you simply cannot play anymore... but they might still exist in some capacity.
Another contender is Pokemon games.
