I literally can't understand how people play SFV. It is the single most baffling and strange 2D fighter of any significance I've ever played, I absolutely 100% can not wrap my head around this fucking thing, no other game do I sit there 100% convinced I'm going to hit someone with a sweep just to whiff 5 times a match. Not that the god fucking awful rollbacking its nuts off netcode helps any, but frame data, pushback, hitboxes, wake up timing, input windows are all just slightly off from every game I've ever liked in a way that my brain can't separate it like I'm playing a distinctly different kind of game. Even the mashing bronze shitters have like 10x more understanding what's actually going on they just do dumb shit in the situations they recognize and I don't.
