Remember Overwatch? Me neither

Remember Overwatch? Me neither.
What happened? How game so big died after a 1.5 year?

No custom maps and retarded balance decisions attempting to push the esports meme

Overwatch was never big. It only ever had the players it did because of dedicated astroturfing on every corner of the internet, and the shilling didn't even work until they hired some porn artists and bought off streamers.

To this day the vast majority of people only care about the porn.

Is slobbering your tongue everywhere like this normal for a kiss? I did it once in college like the hentais told me to but I just got sick from it.

The devs ran it face first into the ground with meddling and a shameless cashgrab "Overwatch 2" 1.5 update. Also there's been such a flood of porn that it all looks the same now. Very few real people care about it anymore.

This and custom nemesis mode from OW2 beta are the most fun

I hate it so much but I'm addicted and keep reinstalling it. I've been thinking of just spamming slurs in global chat until I get permabanned but I alrready wasted too much of my money and life on this 2016 account

Pumping your entire dev budget trying to make the game a competitive esport despite being a poor spectator experience.
Also by just having some fundamentally broken* characters on release
*for the games longevity/user experience

i hope you impressed a mexican boy

But it was Brick who killed OW completely

The way they tried to balance the game by enforcing their idea of what the metagame completely destroyed any semblance of casual fun early on. It's the prime example of how to fuck up a competitive game by refusing to let it grow naturally.

The gameplay wasn't fun enough (at least not in the way most people play it in random matchmaking) to become a phenomenon that lasts forever. It ran off of hype for the characters and being a new Blizz IP, but eventually people got tired of it and move onto the new thing like with most games

SHIELD HEROES
MORE SHIELD HEROES
STUN STUN AND STUN AGAIN

me in the middle

I think you gonna laugh at ne for that, but for me it was abandoned lore and shit retcons

no it's just porn memes that went too far like titfucking, ass eating, pulling out, etc. Sticking some tongue in is fine but not too many people actually like slobbering all over each other's face or at least not that often

the post launch balance changes killed the game

it started out as more of a class based shooter with players actually able to kill each other, but updates emphasized tanks and healers and neutered dps to the point of being unable to break through without pressing q or several players working to take out the tank+healer.

balance changes consistently flip flopped the strongest characters into being the weakest and vice versa. actual balance was never attempted, it was just whos turn is it to be on top.

everyone being funneled through the same matchmaking meant you either tried to play exactly as blizzard wanted you to, or you got shat on for picking the character that happened to be shit this patch.

the forced trinity separate que was the nail in the coffin to an already dead game, nobody who cared was still playing. the meta was not defined by the players, it was enforced by the devs.

Fuck overwatch, post more lewds

You already know what happened
