Is there any there any other game that did this sort of thing, aka have no voice acting but later hire a bunch of VAs to voice the characters for an update?

Shredder, Oblina, Nigel Thornberry, Toph, Aang, April O' Niel, Garfield, and Powdered Toast Man.
With Reptar and Lincoln Loud just kind of having a bunch of fucking VAs they've gone through.

just got back after playing a few matches after the reinstall.
voices really fucking help the game, but as a whole the game really suffers from trying not to be smash.
light and strong attacks are separate buttons, so you have an extra button for no reason because no smash inputs.
going though a platform down+jump rather than double tap down.
picking up items is down+light attack, rather than just light attack.

voices are pretty much what you expect and sound close enough. nigel jigglypuff scream is "smashing", and thats all anyone wanted i guess.

She would have been a fine character, an overconfident avatar can be good, but they just had to shove that wokeie lesbian shit into it

I'm still genuinely impressed with how they did Jenny. It couldn't have been easy trying to translate such a stylistic character into 3D but she looks really good here.

Just from what I've hear, Garfield, Korra, April, and Lincoln have absolutely terrible mic quality.

but her character is trash she never grows or matures everything just morph itself in a way she can deal with it

It's because they wanted it playable with dpads. Separate buttons is ok, the real loss there is that DI becomes digital for everyone.

Korra herself already had a fuck ton of issues as a character, the lesbian shit doesn't irk me that much even if it feels out of nowhere and I seriously cant recall she and asami having too much chemistry.to end together.

I like that strong attacks get their own button. I liked it better in Slap City too. It makes it easier to do strong attacks for me. And it being easier means more people will be able to use them, so I have more good people to play with than if it was like Smash where there are too many noobs
