You're just ignorant. Let me explain it.
Goldeneye 007 was one of the first mainstream 3D FPS games that a lot of people enjoyed. It gave the first push the genre forward back into relevancy in the 3D game space.
Halo CE, on the other hand, was the precursor to the PS360 downfall of FPSes into cover shooter garbage, introducing health/shield regen and paving the way for all the casual dudebro matchmaking host bullshit we've had to deal with in FPS ever since.
Halo was a FUN game, but not a GOOD game, because it irreparably harmed the FPS genre as a whole.

probably,even if i probably won't
probably cause goldeneye didn't invent the combo of limited arsenals.slow(er) movement (especially cause afterwards,faster movement speed when it was needed was replaced with sprint,which is far more limiting),and health regen.
these alone are not personal problems for me (especially cause later shooters exacerbate the worst parts of these systems),but it's not the same
