Most community servers shuffled off to community branches.
TF2C is for the new casual servers with some wacky modes like custom weapons.
Open Fortress has all the FFA deathmatch sweats, it's a great time.
For the sake of example with pic related, most of the wacky guys to TF2C custom weapons, stoner guys stay on those 24/7 servers in vanilla tf2 and the hardcore guys mostly shuffled to open fortress or other games. Boomer guys went off to TF2C normal servers.
Uncletopia is the tranny zone.

Valve is in a position because if they do deal with the bot problem the 'player' count is going to crater massively. I won't pretend to know how many are bots but it's potentially tens of thousands. If the player base drops suddenly like that, people might buy less hats.
