I have been to PAX West twice and Sakura Con once since I live in the area. Cosplaying is lots of fun and I wanna make more buddies to go to local cons with. Doing group cosplays is super fun because people that will be excited to see one character they know and like, that person will be even more excited to see most of the main cast of something they like all together.

I worked at an A&W near a convention center around 2005. On weekends, I’d see all sorts of weird people that would come in for a bite. I remember a few anime/gaming conventions and saw a bunch of costumes of characters I didn’t recognize, and roughly 62957 Links. There was a cat convention and a bunch of 90 year old ladies came in. Not sure what the topic was, but we had to close early one day when a ton of rednecks started a big fight in our lobby.

I go to cons to socialise. That's the whole point of it. It's not an arcade. If you're a billy no mates autist you are going to have a bad time. If you go in cosplay or just to chill with a specific group of people you can get drunk with it's fun.

Used to travel to Atlanta yearly for AWA since I have friends that live there. We've cosplayed together a couple times, one time as Maka and Soul (his second outfit) from Soul Eater with a female friend and another time Mario Bros with a male friend. As fun as it is to attend with them, I love spending time at the arcade, mostly playing fighting games. Been considering attending Florida Supercon this year, mainly due to knowing some people that work in the neighboring warehouse that have been considering going.
