Nah, I played it well before emulation was really a thing. The cartridge was borrowed from a neighbor.
I also specifically remember the ending scene featuring your dudes somersaulting into a helicopter before it takes off and apparently THAT was cut from the us release, too.

Hard Corps was my first videogame and also favorite Genesis game of all time, but let's be honest, it is too easy. Once you memorize the patterns the game becomes a joke. And this comes from someone who would do no-damage+no-special guns run as an 8 years old and would beat every ending.
It desperately needs a hard mode that randomizes the enemies moveset so it stops being a memory game
