The most popular media in the world right now consists of comic characters that are nearly a century old, a science-fantasy franchise born from the late 1970's, and a bunch of reboots of stuff from the 1980's. Oh, and there's also Stranger Things and other similar nostalgia-bait. We were past the point of not making anything new a long time ago. No one even wants to live in the world as it is, everyone (even normies) want to go back to a time when things weren't so fucked and we didn't overtly hate everyone else.

I can't imagine Aqua Teen ever being syndicated though? Who would buy it, and when would they air it? "Syndication" isn't a magic word meaning "more money," and changing the name of the show wouldn't have much affect on it. Plenty of cartoons from the 1980's went into syndication and had name changes over the course of the show (Alvin and the Chipmunks, Real Ghostbusters... etc.) Aqua Teen even has an episode explaining syndication.
