That's just the original subnautica sequel. The idea was to make games about crash landing on different hostile planets and having to survive on them to escape. Until the first one did so well they kind of became the subnautica company.

Basically pic rel, a colony survival management game where you have to keep fortifying the outside of your dwelling to prevent the lava from cooking you all.

rough outline, but could be fun. the sticking point is how to best weave being stuck on hellworld into the game

Earth like just means a medium sized rocky planet with an atmosphere and gravity close to earth standard.
A lot of this stuff is speculative based on its location to its parent star, if it transits just right you can try to do a spectrogaphic analysis of the light passing through its atmosphere and that will tell you what it is made up of.
