Why do they keep forcing is to use this teenaged long legged freak when it's pretty much universal that we preferred the more classic look from the og games?

Also aren't sonics arms meant to be blue?

Is it finally time?

Good. They're a AAA company. They shouldn't be hiring amateurs if they want to reclaim they're position up with the big boys.

>Spyro the Dragon (Again) 2018 - 2020
>Crash Bandicoot (Again)
Why? The revivals for both went fine.

Oh please, you'd bitch no matter what Sega did. You don't want good games.

>Also aren't sonics arms meant to be blue?
No, you got the meme backwards.
>we preferred
You clearly know jack shit about the franchise.

Anons it's not that kind of Sonic game. It's meant to take after Adventure/Modern Sonic. Not the Genesis/Saturn/whatever Sonic.

Gee, I wonder why Mario keeps getting successful game after successful game.
Must be because they keep it simple and close to its roots

GRUG WANT OLD THING! OLD THING SAFE! OLD THING GOOD! NEW THING SCARE GRUG! NEW THING BAAAAAAAAAAD! UNGA BUNGA!

Story?

The absurd belief that Mania devs made them jealous because they made a good Sonic game when they couldn't.

The cold hard reality is there hasn't been a good Sonic game that isn't in the classic 2D 16bit style.

No one wants this shit.

Mario did "Different design for new game" long before Sonic did it you retard.

I think the game is fundamentally flawed at the conceptual level. Whoever decided they were doing open world Sonic, they were setting it in a bland "real world" environment, and they weren't even going to attempt any of the cool physics stuff that you see in fan demos, made a mistake, and now the best thing is probably just to rip the bandage off and not waste any more time on a doomed project.

Why waste time trying to fix something that is broken from a fundamental standpoint to begin with Either trash it outright or release this abortion and collect what you can from it.

They just don’t learn, do they. They’ve been pandering to the Adventure crowd since 2006, and how well has that worked out for them? The best-performing modern Sonic games were the ones that tried to ape the Genesis-era titles (Colours, Generations, Mania).

Fuck delaying it, they need to cancel it and start over

I wouldn't bitch if they made Mania 2.

Comparing this to Adventure is an insult to Adventure

That is pretty much my same thoughts.
They should've thought about how to make the Sonic gameplay fit an open world well, but what we're really getting is "Sonic Forces but with a huge map"

Ultimately, the "Adventure style" is just a worse design, that hasn't stood the test of time nearly as well as the original. There comes a point where you should probably just stop.
