Why is there no hype?
Why is there no hype?
Does anyone own an Xbox in 2022? It's all either pc, snoy or nintendies
it got delayed
All the games are on PC though, only Snoys are missing out while Sony keeps sending more and more games over to PC as well, which sooner or later means Snoys will be left with nothing.
Anyway, i'm mildly excited, i want my Forza Expansion shadowdrop and see Starfield finally.
it's a week away?
Microsoft hasn't bankrolled a good game since Halo 3 and nobody is expecting that to change anytime soon.
what is there to by hyped about?
fable 4
as it should be
>announce game
>show story and gameplay trailer
>release date in 6 months
>interviews to talk about shit
>final marketing push 2 months before release
as it was before covid
>announce game with a cgi teaser
>talk a bit about in interviews for the next 2 weeks
>show another slightly more fleshed out teaser a year later
>a bit more info this time
>show a story trailer a year later
>small gameplay trailer too
>announce release date for next year
>delay game by 6 months
>final marketing push
>2 months before release final trailer, gameplay, story, interviews, pre-order BS, detailing day1 patch
as it is right now
>announce game with a teaser image
>nothing for a year
>story teaser
>cryptic interviews that over promise
>nothing for another year
>the game is still alive we promise
>nothing for another year
>the game is still alive we promise, we just hit a bit of a snag
>nothing for another year
>slightly more detailed teaser
>interviews
>everybody wondering what the fuck is going on
>the game is being restructured and done when it's done, sorry
looking specifically at you
>whole xbox lineup
I own a Series X and enjoy it quite a bit. But I also prefer consoles to PC having done both for a few reasons. A big one is that my job primarily consists of sitting at a PC all day and on my time off I'd rather not deal with it.
If it's anything like previous years, it'll be filled with CGI trailers for games that won't come out for another 4 to 5 years. Why would I be excited?
To be fair, 3/4 of people watching the sony conference just want it to fail horribly. Which it does. Everytime.
>what is there to by hyped about?
because theyll have gameplay for the games that were announced with CGI
The latest State of Play was great. It wasn't even Sony's big event of the year (which will be in September) yet it showed off better games than Microsoft's big event probably will. Sony has been killing it lately.
>releasing sometime in the future!
They probably won't have real gameplay to show off for the games announced previously until at least next year. Microsoft's hands-off approach means that devs work at a snail's pace so it takes forever for the games to be completed and even then they still turn out terrible.
>Sony has been killing it lately.
You realize Sony has technically announced -2 exclusives since everything is multiplat and Spiderman + Niggerman are coming to PC?
Because my pc is already better than this and i have a switch. Also what games?
I'm desparate to see Forza Motorsport 8 gameplay.
i want to test this new physics system from what i've read it is above and beyond
Talking about it would require talking about video games.
Any Forums doesn't talk about video games anymore, just vaguely video game themed bait and/or porn threads.
Xbox hasn't put out a game worth shit since Halo 3. They bought all those companies and still have nothing to show for it
The only thing I'm hyped for is multiplat reveals. Xbox and Xbox exclusives are just MS money laundering schemes.
Starfield not this year
it's only up to 360 days to go bro
Because it's in a week
>this is what real creative freedom looks like!
>proceeds to not release any games, because muh employee mental health
