Endings in Elden Ring is it's weakest part, so i guess they just merged all final bosses which is why final phase is so boss tense

Yes, ER was truly rushed and sewn together in many ways that changed basically all the lore and endings, much like DSIII where Sulyvahn was Prince Lothric, Aldrich was called Sulyvahn and was fought in the deacons chamber etc....
