Elden Ring with VRR enabled runs amazingly well on Series X. PC had lots of issues with the game, not sure if it's fixed by now, but there are many such cases. Most games simply aren't developed for PC as anything but an afterthought and when you play a new hardware intense triple A game on PC, you will always have to be afraid of your GPU going up in flames. On consoles, they just work.
