i decided to put all my ambitious game ideas aside and make a mobile game this summer
>use lua which is a easy scripting language
>playerbase are retarded kids therefore easy money printing machine
Take the Robloxpill.
what kind, my first game was on mobile
it's a pikmin-like, because seriously where the fuck are they? I started making this on thursday. I just added the sprites for them to have flowers, and I got them to walk around walls and take the dead enemies back to the base from anywhere on the map without clipping. I need art for the map, and more enemy dynamics.
>what kind
i still have decided yet
but i need to decide asap
did your first game make you any money?
I teach kids lua and I don't prefer it, but they all want to work in roblox
>did your first game make you any money?
No, I've never made a single cent from game dev because I'm set from other things, and I just make them and release them as a form of therapy.
Although, if I did charge, it only got ~10 downloads, so it would not have made me any money.

this I made my first thousand making a shitty relevant meme game
>finish a game
>sit through the credits
>become depressed with how many people are required to make a game
was it based on a real event?
i was considering submitting some shit for this year's Any Forums3, but decided not to since i'm already doing next fest. i may attend next year's, although i know full well everyone's just going to call it le earthbound clone
trying to improve my combat. these AI behavior trees are in need of a do-over.

is there like a Clickteam Fusion / Construct3 for 3D vidya? I reeeally hate traditional programming.
>try to make good music
>get bored
>end up writing shitty polka because it sounds funny
I guess it's some kind of progress
>Start learning Unreal Engine C++
>UPROPERTY, UCLASS, GENERATED_BODY()
>Everything is capitalized
>CoreMinimal.h
nice, post it
>because it sounds funny
Based. Reminder that LISA's soundtrack is lauded primarily because of a gay grunting man workout song.

Speak for yourself, for me it's "The End is Nigh"
no one likes you, go back
>no one likes you
Nice projection
>Speak for yourself
I wasn't, but Work Harder is objectively the most popular/famous LISA song. For me, it's Blood for Sex.
Can you make Polka Bass?
