We could have a Sonic movie design situation here. Everyone I've seeb so far thinks this game looks rough as shit so far so maybe they'll delay it for another 2 years.

yiu forgot
>open world
>NGS reused assets
>hamster wheels

>maybe they'll delay it for another 2 years.
not happening, they have to meet the 2022 fiscal year for march

ironically thats the whole reason sonic 06 failed back then

>>open world
>>NGS reused assets
>>hamster wheels
when did 06 have these?

did they add jet boots to ngs?
I fucking loved those things in pso2. if its in, maybe I should give that clusterfuck another shot

>maybe they'll delay it for another 2 years.
Not ganna happen. you can blame the retarded moron that wanted this to happen and Covid.

Are they just too stubborn to try and replicate the adventure physics?

06 never had potential.

They added last year along with a Jetboot representative that is a leader/singer/main character of Aelio Desert. Its arguably one of the most OP weapon set and has the highest Normal Attack Burst in the game.

Not every game needs an open world

The thing about sonic is he's really good at running fast in a straight line.

After that gameplay reveal, this game doesn't either.

SEGA is stretch on budget because , and its cheaper to just use the PSO2 NGS asset and put sonic. It just so happen to be open world.

At this point, I don't think they can develop anything new and are just copy pasting physics from Generations and Forces.

I doubt the game will be riddled with bugs, but otherwise it really does feel like 06 all over again; a new setting and direction for Sonic that goes horribly wrong.

mods will fix it

you're a retard

play p06 and say that again in good conscience

It's already got pop in out the ass, though that is just visual bugs.

it's not going to broken enough to be an 06-tier trainwreck (pop in aside) but it will be another aggressively underwhelming title like Forces

Forces sucked for a COMPLETELY different reason than 06 or Frontiers, the difference being that 06 and Frontiers at their core seem to be good intentioned games. Forces has always been a piece of shit from inception and has no redeeming qualities about it, besides not being broken mechanically. 06 and Frontiers are the total opposite of that.

The average player doesn't know this is even a problem.

Are the avarage players mentally handicaped? That just looks and feels wrong, you don't need to understand physics for this shit.

Bro, they've spent 6 years on this one. They don't even have the excuse of having to develop the new engine like they did with Forces. How the fuck is it rushed??? At some point you people have to recognize not every bad game is a result of rushed development, sometimes the team is just inept and lacks talent. And Sonic Team has absolutely shown that to be the case at this point

Forced was never underwhelming because there was never anything on it to get hyped about, children who are just figuring out Sonic are having their first boner to the idea of the open world in the new one. People are gonna talk about this game in 10 years the same way they talk about Heroes.

when are they releasing the dev interviews and shit? I want a good laugh

Did Hero really ruin sanic that much?

>Bro, they've spent 6 years on this one
Well 5 but you know what man this sorta time is no longer considered long in the modern industry. Games take fucking forever to develop and release nowadays and they end up more or less the same length or quality as games that were developed for 3 years with crunch in 2008. Not to mention the scamdemic probably took out a year of development around 2020 (that's why the "Year of Sonic" promise of monthly updates for the game was canned around the time as well).
