This has to be the most soulful game of the past five years. The amount of detail and care put into everything from the gameplay, to the visual designs, to the story moments is insane.
This has to be the most soulful game of the past five years...
Should I download the PKG?
It's all fucking cutscenes...
That's not Xeno2
What game should I download?
>Annoying smoking femoid
>Cutscenes and loading screens everywhere
>First half of the game is against shitty fodder
>Shitty V gameplay sections
It was boring as fuck
Its a top 5 of all time for me.
3.
>he doesn't like women
Faggot.
>the made an entire character purely to explain where Nero's new arms came from
>they contracted one of most important mecha designers of all time to design the arms
>they made cutscenes of her driving to you in her ban whenever you go to the shop
>they filled the van she drives around with easter eggs and used it for the mission and gallery screens
>they named her after a character in the old DMC1 novel so they could recanonize the whole thing
>and all because the director has a fetish for tough girls

It legitimately feels like a game from another world where AAA games kept making made with heart and soul instead of studio demands. I'm blown away by the fact that Itsuno was allowed to make such a specific niche game. The fact that it was an actual sequel to DMC4 and built on so much story and lore from previous games is insane. They would probably have made way more money if it was a fresh start GoW 2018 style game but I'm glad it wasn't.
I don't really like these sort of games but this one was very good. Can't find anything to complain about.
it's soulless
The real question is why don't they make more game in this vein when they sell good with the right marketing.
because gaming is dead. WE got to a point where RE4 is being remade. it's already over?
The RE4 remake was an inevitability. We can only pray they don't fuck it up too bad.
DMC3.
>cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene cutscene
Press start nigga
Capcom read the trends and predicted it would sell. Cuh-Ray-Zee action games like Bayonetta, MGR, and so on have been gaining popularity and that likely lead a lot of new players to Devil May Cry. Devil May Cry V obviously wasn't going to make CoD money, but the brand is strong enough that it wasn't super risky either. In otherwords, Devil May Cry's successors ultimately paved the way for its return.
>10 years for DMC4.5
Game was good and I can't blame them for literally any decision they made, but now the series is even more stuck than it was before.
They basically tied up every loose end in the canon and gave the series a fitting ending while still leaving the door open for more, how is it stuck? If anything they put themselves in a situation where they can go in bunch of directions.
