nigga i played that shit for free and i feel like chucklefuck owes me money

I remember when Any Forums shilled this game in early access before it came out and said it would be way better than Terraria
How did that work out you pathetic fucks?

if you are starving maybe

Not even worth it for free. The only thing it has worth a damn is the wide variety of shit you can use to build with.

No, the game still is a waste of time even if you get it for free.
And no, mods can't save it either. Modding support is barely functional because the game itself is barely functional.
And no, the porn mods are terrible.

Do not listen to v about this game they’re still but hurt the dev didn’t give into their demands and make terraria 2

based xenocunt furry

I'd say so. It's far from perfect, but the dungeons are cool the first few times and building is fun.

>Is it worth it now that its on sale?
Yes, especially if you use the Avali mod

meh just looked it up and its another gay furry race.

i rather use the cool skeletons mod rather tahn this gay shit

Starbound is only "worth it" if you get paid an hourly wage for playing it.

It's not even worth playing when it's free to grab off gog-games

its boring as fuck even with mods
yeah im mad i wont get those 40+ hours back

This game was always potential and promises rather than content or features. Now that it's dead it's not got that anymore.

It fucking sucks that it ended up flopping and getting screwed over by the incompetent dev team.
Terraria needs something to kick it off it's high horse, and a planetary 2D sandbox game is a good idea, it just needs good devs behind it.

People shit on it and while it did suffer from updates that made it worse and strange design choices it's still a fun game with a lot to do. I got my money's worth out of it.

>buying starbound
Don't do this. Not only is the game garbage but Chucklefuck is a scummy piece of shit.

>You havent played terraria? You have low expectations?
Sure give it a try

Otherwise dont expect much. I personally enjoyed it but I dont know how I did that

I want to FUCK the a.v.i.a.n. AI.

I've always vouched that Starbound should've taken place in a single Star system. Different biomes for each world, ancient ruins here and there. Maybe a space hulk or two.

Fuck no, you weren't there before the game released and what v1.0 was. The devs were skummy about it all and it was supposed to be something compared to Terraria cause at the time, that game was super big and it needed competition.

Only correct answer. I have over a hundred hours in this game and even modding can't salvage it. It just sucks.

Eh, nah. The multi-star system generation thing is good in concept since it means you can find various different planetary configurations and star types, it just needed a lot more celestial body variety like what FU did, just with more refinements and non-planetary things for you to explore, no arbitrary "star system difficulty" modifiers and more spaced out systems so you won't end up finding like 5 Temperate Stars in a single tightly packed cluster

>taken place in a single Star system
I'm trying to make a game like Starbound and that's what I plan to do. There's predetermined planets on the solar system (currently 6 planned), the last boss is some organization or entity that's blocking FTL travel and you get access to randomized infinite space sandbox after you "finish the game".

Then why do you have over one hundred hours in it?
