they were all just reminders of why crpgs died

I dont care about following canon and worshipping, just enjoyed good wasteland game.

of those only banner saga and original sin are remembered and banner saga only because of the legal stuff with king, the people have spoken at div wins

divinity os 2 or underrail
legend of grimrock is not a crpg

Why is the banner saga there? That's not a crpg
Grimrock shouldn't be there either

D:OS 2 for most production value and polish
Wrath of the Rightheous for the best game.

blobbers are the original CRPG you cretin

wrath is post renaissance, maybe even kingmaker was

The fuck is this arbitrary era you made up? Ok, D:OS 2 wins all then.

Divinity and Kingmaker by far.

By far and away Genshin

How do you determine where the renaissance ends? Seems to me we still get about as my decent ones a year as in 2014

i hated the original sin games

I played only Dragonfall and Div:OS from these, enjoyed them both.

Is it an RPG? Yes.
Does it run on a Computer? Yes.
It's even Chinese, for twice the C.

Divinity OS 1 & 2 have the. Est combat systems. Real time w/ pause feels unfun to play.

I certainly don't mean to say that post renaissance games are bad, I just see the term renaissance as being the period where the genre was in revival, it's no longer in revival, it's here properly.

Tyranny had some great ideas but I ultimately never finished it

That's fine, neither did the devs.

These games were all bad. It's good the genre is dead again. Nobody will be nostalgic for these.

I know the guy who made Banner sagas mom. She streams his games to the same 5 people every once in awhile. She is a very nice lady.

Pathfinder by far

>Real time w/ pause feels unfun to play.
It feels very basic. Only boss encounters provide any real challenge, and all the "fun" is in figuring out the right party setup and buffs/debuffs you'll use in the fight. The actual fight isn't any fun.
